Privacy Policy
In short: MyValuesMap has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. What you write stays on your device. Text is sent to an AI provider only if you add your own key, turn on a cloud provider, and tap an AI button.
Who we are
MyValuesMap is an app by LevelUpNow LLC ("LevelUpNow", "we"). This policy covers the MyValuesMap app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and this website, levelupnow.ai.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store or have access to the content you enter, your API keys, your voice, or any information about how you use the app. There is no LevelUpNow server behind the app.
What stays on your device
- Your work — your maps, selected values, groups, answers, reflections and personal compass — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. It is not synced to us or to any cloud service by the app.
- Settings and preferences (such as which provider or model you chose) are stored locally on your device.
- Exports (for example a personal compass you save or share) are created only when you ask, and go only where you send them.
Voice input
If you use voice input, MyValuesMap asks for microphone and speech-recognition permission. Speech is transcribed on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is not recorded to disk by the app and is not sent to us or to any AI provider. You can deny or revoke these permissions in your device's Settings; the rest of the app works without them.
AI features
MyValuesMap includes optional "Ask AI" actions.
- By default, they run entirely on your device using Apple's on-device model (Apple Foundation Models). Nothing leaves your device.
- Optionally, you can bring your own API key (BYOK) for a cloud provider and turn on "Use a cloud provider instead" in Settings. Supported providers are Anthropic, Google, xAI (Grok), OpenAI and OpenRouter. When that setting is on and you tap an AI action, the text shown in the request is sent directly from your device to the provider over HTTPS. It does not pass through LevelUpNow.
- OpenRouter is a gateway: it forwards your request to the company that hosts the model you choose (for example DeepSeek, Qwen or Moonshot AI). That company's location and data practices vary and are outside our control.
- When you save a key or tap "Refresh model list", the app contacts the provider with your key to ask which models the key can use. No content from your maps is sent in that request.
- Responses are shown for your review and are added to your map only if you accept them.
Each provider handles data sent through its API under its own terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for choosing a provider you trust and for any charges your provider bills you.

Your API keys
API keys are stored only in your device's Keychain, set to be accessible only on that device. They are never written to the app's database, preferences, exports or logs, and they are used only to authenticate to the provider that issued them. You can remove a key at any time in Settings.
Tracking and third parties
MyValuesMap contains no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting libraries, and no third-party SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites and do not sell or share personal information.
Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous information about downloads and crashes through the App Store and TestFlight, under Apple's own privacy policy.
This website
levelupnow.ai is a static website. It does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. If you join a launch waitlist or contact us, we use the email address you provide only to reply to you or to tell you about MyValuesMap. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may process standard technical request logs, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and secure the site, and may use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, while waitlist and beta sign-ups are stored with our email provider, Brevo.
Keeping and deleting your data
Because your data lives only on your device, you control it. Deleting a map removes it from the app; deleting the app removes its data from your device. Keys can be removed in Settings, or are removed when the app is deleted.
Children
MyValuesMap is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Because we hold none of your information, there is nothing for us to provide or delete; your data is on your device under your control. If you contact us and give us your email address, you may ask us to delete that correspondence.
Changes to this policy
If we change how MyValuesMap handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above, and we will say so in the app's release notes.
